This page, the Redeemed Charter, describes the core principles and vision
of the clan. It is intended to be a summary and overview. The full text of the
Statement of Faith and Organization Page are also available for reference;
these documents go into detail about the creed and organization of the clan.
Redeemed is a Christian gaming community. This means that our foundation
is the gospel of Jesus Christ, and all our gaming events and activities are
based upon a Christian worldview.
We define "Christian" in the traditional sense: one who believes
that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Messiah, who died on
the cross and was raised the third day as an atonement for our
sin, and that salvation is through him and him alone. The
Statement of Faith goes into
detail about this, and about other principles of
Christianity that we hold to.
Our mission as a clan is threefold:
- We exist to give Christians a community free from worldly pressures
and ideals in which they can play online games casually or competitively
in a Christian-based, vulgarity-free environment.
- We exist to encourage Christian game players in their walk with the
Lord and help them understand vital points of Christian doctrine and living.
- We exist to present the gospel of Jesus Christ to the gaming
community in a clear, loving, and straightforward manner.
